About Us » What We Believe

What We Believe

  • We believe young people have the right to political power.

  • We believe young people gain power through unity.

  • We believe that young people, especially working class youth and youth of color, deserve more support & resources and less punishment. We want Schools, Not Jails!

  • We believe that young people have the right to speak up, organize politically, and demand change from city officials.

  • We fight for youth rights.

  • We work hard to realize our dreams for our communities, our society and ourselves.

"We are not responsible for our oppression but we are responsible for our liberation."

How We Organize for Change

What We Believe

  • We throw citywide dances and events to bring young people together.

  • We fight campaigns to win real SOLUTIONS to the problems we face as youth in San Francisco.

  • We have regular Membership Meetings where we have fun, learn about our history, how to be leaders for our community and win our campaings.

  • We organize community meetings, speak outs, rallies and meetings with city or school officials who have decision-making power over the problems we face.

  • We have fun, make friends, travel to other cities, and eat a lot of food!
