Steve Bingham
Staff attorney, Bay Area Legal Aid in San Francisco since 1990. Currently Director of the Legal Barriers to Employment Project, assisting recipients of welfare benefits to address a wide variety of legal problems, preventing them from obtaining employment. Directs the CalWORKs and PAES Client Advocacy Projects assist CalWORKs families and single adults on PAES having legal problems with the welfare department. Member of the National Lawyers Guild since 1964, and currently on its Board of Directors. Board member of the Coalition for Ethical Welfare Reform (CEWR).
