MK Nguyen is the new YMAC Campus Organizer at Balboa High School. MK began her youth work at age 15. Since then, her educational and professional goals have been aimed at empowering youth to engage in their communities and stimulate change. She earned her B.A. in Critical Studies of Race and Ethnicity, at College of Saint Catherine and is currently pursuing her M.A. in Equity and Social Justice in Education, at San Francisco State University. After her studies, MK plans to dedicate her life to building power with people who have the least to lose and the most to gain in our current power structure.
